Industree Group is proud to continue its partnership with R U OK?, building on a collaboration that began in 2024 and reinforcing a shared commitment to promoting mental health awareness and encouraging meaningful conversations across Australian workplaces.
Since becoming a Workmate Partner of R U OK? in 2024, Industree Group has contributed directly to the organisation through its formal partnership program, supporting the ongoing delivery of national suicide prevention and mental health awareness initiatives.
To date over $400K in Partnership funds have been donated to R U OK?, and further contributions will be made annually from the sales of our co-branded range of products. Contributions are designed to be made based on the commercial performance of the co-branded products, ensuring the partnership remains focused on creating long-term positive impact.
However, the true value of the collaboration extends far beyond financial contributions.
"We're incredibly grateful to have Industree Group as a partner. Their support goes well beyond funding. By bringing the R U OK? message to PPE worn on worksites across Australia, they're creating a visible reminder to check in with the people around us. Those everyday reminders help normalise R U OK? Conversations and reinforce that any day is the right day to ask, 'Are you OK?’” – Gina Pollock, R U OK? Partnerships & Revenue Director
The R U OK? co-branded PPE range transforms everyday safety equipment into a visible reminder to check in with colleagues, friends, and family. Whether displayed on safety glasses, gloves, apparel, or other workplace essentials, the simple question "Are you OK?" becomes part of the daily work environment.
By integrating this message directly into PPE, workers are encouraged to normalise conversations around mental health and wellbeing in industries where these discussions have traditionally been difficult to start.
"Safety is about more than physical protection," said a spokesperson for Industree Group. "While PPE protects workers from workplace hazards, the R U OK? range also serves as a daily reminder that psychological wellbeing matters. Every product becomes an opportunity to start a conversation that could make a meaningful difference in someone's life."
The initiative is particularly relevant across high-risk sectors such as construction, mining, manufacturing, logistics, healthcare, and industrial workplaces, where workers face a heightened risk of suicide due to the unique challenges associated with these industries.
The partnership reflects Industree Group's broader commitment to workplace safety, community engagement, and creating positive social impact. By combining practical safety solutions with one of Australia's most recognised mental health and suicide prevention messages, the company aims to help build workplaces where looking out for one another is part of the culture.
While the financial support provided through the partnership is important, the visibility and reach of the message itself may be the most valuable contribution of all. Every R U OK? product worn on-site represents another opportunity to encourage connection, reduce stigma, and remind people that a simple conversation can change a life.
