Currently ranked No. 1 female surfer in the world, Molly Picklum is a 20-year-old surfing prodigy from Shelly Beach on the beautiful Central Coast, NSW. Molly is an elite athlete devoted to being the best surfer in the world, and Industree Group is incredibly proud to support Molly on her remarkable journey and to have her on board as our new Brand Ambassador.
Facing enormous eight-foot waves, Molly won the prestigious Hurley Pro Sunset Beach event in Hawaii in February 2023. On the Australian leg of the WSL Championship tour, Molly placed runner-up to defending champ Tyler Wright at the recent Rip Curl Pro event at Bells Beach. As a result, Molly retains her status as the world’s No.1 surfer and will proudly wear the yellow jersey at the Margaret River Pro, running between Thursday 20th April and Sunday 30th April.
As an Australian owned and operated, designer and manufacturer of premium Personal Protective Equipment who are genuinely committed to supporting the local community, Industree Group are thrilled to have the talented surfer onboard as our Brand Ambassador.
“It is Molly’s strong sense of community and passion for the environment that makes this a natural partnership for Industree Group.”
-Industree Group CEO, Mr Jon Fleming.
Now residing in Terrigal, Molly has a strong connection with her community, continues to support her local board riders club and loves spending time with young surfers in her area.
“As a proud Central Coast girl, I am excited to become a Brand Ambassador for one of our local businesses, Industree Group. As I travel the world on my surfing journey, the support of my home community means so much to me. I’m looking forward to working together on projects to celebrate our shared passions of sustainability and supporting local.”
“A shared passion around a sustainable planet has created an incredible synergy between Molly and our brand. Industree Group believes that sustainability is the key to a brighter future and understand our responsibility in reducing our environmental footprint, which is why as a business we are committed to always getting better.” explains Fleming.
We warmly welcome Molly to the Industree Group family and wish her all the best at the Margaret River Pro. Stay tuned for regular updates on Molly’s journey and be sure to follow us on social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube) to watch this Aussie star in action.
