Earth Day is an annual event celebrated worldwide to demonstrate support for environmental protection and preservation. Earth Day reminds us of the importance of conserving our planet and encouraging sustainable practices.

At Industree Group, we believe that sustainability is the key to a better and brighter future. Therefore, we are committed to minimising our environmental impact and working towards a more sustainable planet.  

Industree Group has introduced several significant sustainability initiatives and practices, with more to come!

Key initiatives to protect our environment:

• 96 solar panels on our warehouse.
• Recycling all paper and cardboard products.
• Reusing corrugated cardboard and cartons.
• Reducing the use of stretch wrap with pallet bands and straps.
• Paperless work environment.
• Implementing energy-saving devices to reduce electricity use.
• Continuous review and introduction of eco-friendly product packaging and use of soy-based inks. 

Certifications: 

Significant accreditations and certifications include Silver Status EcoVadis certification, and Responsible Forestry Certified / Forest Stewardship Council (FSC®), SCS Certified. Industree Group has been a Carbon Zero certified company since 2011, meaning our entire carbon footprint/emissions are offset to counter our environmental impact.  

Epicycle Recycling Program: 

In response to the mounting environmental challenges posed by Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) waste, Industree Group recently launched Epicycle – a revolutionary recycling initiative. In partnership with TerraCycle, a global leader in recycling innovation, Epicycle is tailored to transform the management of PPE waste at worksites nationwide. The Epicycle initiative emerges as a timely and impactful response to the surge of PPE usage in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic and setting a new standard for responsible waste management in Australia.
