Safety
At Industree Group, we continually strive to provide a safe place to work.
Our safety awareness program focuses on our 5 safety principles of:
- All injuries can be prevented.
- Every hazard can be managed..
- Management is accountable for safety.
- People are the most critical factor in the safety effort.
- Working safely is a condition of employment.
The health and safety of our own workspace is paramount. We invited Safe Work Australia into our facility to conduct a full safety audit. Our operations proved to be extremely safe and we have taken additional steps outside the audit to ensure we have a best-in-class workplace with the introduction of pedestrian proximity detectors to the forklifts and speed-limiting them to 7kms per hour.
Human Rights
At Industree Group, we have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and child labour and are fully committed to preventing slavery, human trafficking and child labour in our operation and supply chain.
Leadership
We see leadership as an integral element in the successful achievement of our sustainability objectives for building awareness, acceptance, and support amongst all employees.
Health & wellness
Industree Group were thrilled to be onboard as the major sponsor of one of the largest step challenges #MOVEAGAINSTCANCER 2023. Our dedicated team stepped up to the challenge of getting in as many steps as possible to promote awareness and raise funds for Central Coast Cancer Council.
A focus on mental well-being and health is integral to developing and maintaining a positive culture. Over the next 12 months, we plan to roll out a staff wellness program and a new return to work program.
