Responsible Forestry Certified / Forest Stewardship Council (FSCĀ®), SCS Certified

Just as we depend on forests, forests depend on us. Industree Group is proud to be FSCĀ® certified. FSCĀ® certification is a way of ensuring that your careful and long-term stewardship is recognised and tested against nationally and internationally agreed standards of responsible forest management and provides evidence to customers that products are sourced from well-managed forests and other controlled sources.

Climate Active Carbon Neutral Certified

Industree Group Pty Ltd is proud to announce that we have achieved Climate Active Carbon Neutral certification.

The certification signifies our commitment to reducing our carbon footprint, actively participating in climate change initiatives, and operating in an environmentally sustainable manner. This certification demonstrates that Industree Group has measured, reduced, and offset carbon emissions under the rigorous standards set by the Climate Active program.

Carbon Zero Certified

Industree Group Pty Ltd has been a Carbon Zero Certified company since 2011, meaning that our entire carbon footprint/ emissions are offset to counter our impact on the environment.

Industree Group undergoes annual audits to assess carbon emissions. This includes reporting the volumes of annual products sold, usage for water, paper, electricity etc. which are then offset by investments in the planting of trees and supply of cooking ovens for indigenous people around the world to reduce deforestation.

IMPROVED COOKSTOVE PROJECTS: KENYA

In Kenya, over 73% of the population relies on traditional cooking methods that use biomass fuel in a ā€˜3-stone fireā€™. However, the burning of biomass poses a significant health threat, as it is a major contributor of household air pollution - the fourth largest death and disability risk factor in Kenya.

The project distributes improved cookstoves to households across Kenya. The project has achieved high levels of market saturation, ensuring that as many households as possible can benefit from the improved stove technology.
