Industree Group, a leading designer and manufacturer of innovative personal protective equipment (PPE), is proud to announce a new partnership with R U OK? a prominent suicide prevention charity that encourages people to meaningfully connect and lend support to the people in their world.
This collaboration marks a significant step towards fostering a supportive and healthy workplace culture for Industree Group and, in turn, individuals and organisations that Industree Group come in contact with.
The partnership will see Industree Group actively participate in R U OK?Day, engage in fundraising activities and implement the free R U OK? at Work resources across its operations, and with clients and partners nationally. The goal is to encourage open conversations and encourage a culture where everyone feels safe, supported and encouraged.
As a leading developer of PPE, Industree Group has designed a co-branded range of high-quality Safety Gloves, Safety Glasses, Respirators and Hi-Vis Vests with R U OK? to support and advocate for regular meaningful conversations in the workplace. Industree Group has committed to contribute a percentage of the sales of all Industree Group R U OK? products.
Jon Fleming, CEO of Industree Group, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, stating;
“We are thrilled to partner with R U OK? and support their vision of a world where we are all connected and are protected from suicide. At Industree Group, we believe that a safe and supportive workplace is crucial to the well-being of our employees. This partnership reflects our commitment to not only our team's physical safety but also their mental and emotional well-being.”
He added;
“By integrating the R U OK? at Work resources into our everyday operations, we aim to create an environment where our employees feel comfortable asking a colleague how they’re really going and confident in signposting them to help when needed. This initiative is an extension of our core values, emphasising care, support, and community.”
R U OK? Major Partners ensure the suicide prevention charity can broaden its reach and impact.
Katherine Newton, CEO of R U OK? is excited to announce the new partnership;
“We welcome the support of Industree Group as a major partner. Their proactive approach to mental health and well-being sets a positive example in the industry. Together, we can make a real difference in the lives of their employees and the broader community by fostering a culture of care and support.”
The partnership will kick off with a series of events leading up to R U OK? Day on Thursday 12 September 2024, including mental health training sessions. Industree Group employees will also participate in year-round awareness, sharing their stories and experiences to help normalise meaningful conversations any day of the year.
