I am pleased to share the following article about General Manager and Part Owner Jon Fleming. From earthquake clean up, to volunteering his time to various sporting codes, Industree Group is very proud of Jon and the difference his efforts have made in the community over the years. Industree Group has also been active in providing donations to Not For Profit organisations (NFP) and we are continuing our efforts by donating PPE products to NFP’s requiring further support prior to Christmas.

JON Fleming became part of Novocastrian history when an iconic photograph was taken of him in the aftermath of the Newcastle earthquake.

​Jon, then aged 20, was involved in the recovery effort with the Army Reserve.

Below is the Birgitte Hansen mural OUR TOWN commissioned by The Newcastle Herald for the one-year anniversary coverage of the earthquake.

The painting was inspired by photos from the day including the photo of Jon throwing bricks off a roof in the clean up. Jon can be found in the top right hand corner of the painting in his uniform.
