FAQS
Proper fit is essential for comfort and tactility (or movement when wearing coveralls). It is worth the time required to physically measure the worker’s height. The packaging on the TRIDENT® coveralls includes a height chart /size fitting guide for reference.
This guide does not always account for possible variations in the size and shape of each worker. If in doubt select one size larger than needed, this is better than choosing a smaller size and not being able to use it. Most importantly, make sure the coveralls can be zipped up fully and gloves fit comfortably over the cuffs of the coveralls and around the wrists.
This depends on how the coveralls were used. If the coveralls have been contaminated with a toxic compound, dangerous particles or biomatter that are covered by disposal regulations, the coveralls and other PPE used must be handled in the same way as the toxic material and/or in line with individual site requirements for toxic, contaminated, or infectious waste. If they have not been contaminated, please follow the guidelines for responsible disposal of the coveralls and all packaging in accordance with the instructions provided on the product packaging.
No. Disposable coveralls are designed to be used for one time only. Coveralls cannot be washed. Washing changes the protective (or barrier) capabilities of the fabric and may no longer be effective.
It is essential to ensure the mask is correctly fitted to achieve the best results, this can be done by having your respirator fit tested by an accredited fit tester.
Disposable coveralls are designed to be used for one time only. Industree Group do not recommend disposable coveralls to be used more than once. Please dispose of the coveralls in accordance with the instructions provided on the product packaging.
Key considerations when selecting suitable coveralls include:
- The type of work that will be done while wearing the coveralls.
- The hazards present in the work area (incl. their physical state e.g. liquids, gaseous, dust, solid compounds).
- Is the work environment hygiene critical?
- The temperature and humidity of the work environment.
- Does the material need to be chemical or flame resistant?
- What other PPE will be used with the protective coveralls in the job task? Do they fit well together to form a holistic protective ensemble?
Note - if unsure, it is important to discuss your protection requirements with a product expert and consult with the site safety manager (HSE etc) and/or hygienist as to the potential risk and threats present prior to purchasing protective coveralls. The wearer’s safety and well-being must be the prime consideration when selecting any PPE. Statutory and/or regulatory requirements may apply to your workplace.
